The eventual goal of this center is to one day be able to give everyone a chance to hear the Dhamma and learn this Buddhist meditation for free.  One day this will be guaranteed.  The Gift of the Dhamma is always given freely.
The monastics here, who are the guiding instructors, live completely dependent on donations.
This Buddhist Temple and center depends entirely on your physical support and continued donations.   Any costs are to provide coverage for utilities, food, shelter, and safety while  at the center and to continue to support the Research, Practice, Preservation and Teaching of this Dhamma.

Costs

The basic operational support cost for food and shelter here is $35 per day. We encourage you to pay a higher rate if possible and you may deduct the difference as a donation towards helping others.   This cost provides transportation, utility costs, food, shelter, medicine, and any clothing needed for the monastics and covers your expenses while here at the center.
You may inquire about possible Scholarships.
This is the least expensive per day rate that we know of in the USA. We are trying to provide the experience to everyone and we try not to turn any student in earnest away.

It is tradition that a Gift of Dana be given to the Guiding teacher of the center at the end of your retreat. Most people offer what they would usually pay for a workshop or other type of retreat. People should do what they feel they are able to do according to the value of the teaching received. This is customarily done.

The only other cost involved is that the student, when reserving a place to come, is asked to send in a $25 deposit to hold their place and $10 for their site membership fee for Emergency Air Vac membership which is used in the case of any emergency where they must be transported out of the center. The location is an isolated forest site and this is the best protection you can have. This membership covers the person for all visits to the center from MAY to MAY each year.

So we ask people to send in $35 before arrival that is non-refundable. This can be done through Paypal or by sending a check to the center. The daily rate is paid upon arrival for the period the student is staying for retreat.
