The goal of this center is to eventually be able to offer an opportunity to anyone to hear the Dhamma and learn the practice free. The Gift of the Dhamma is always given freely.
The monastics here, who are the guiding instructors, live completely on donations.
This Buddhist Temple and center is young and depends on your support to continue.

Onsite Retreat
Costs

The suggested donation for operational support and food is $20 and up per day as you are able. This provides transportation, utility costs, food, shelter, medicine, and any clothing needed for the monastics.

After the completion of your retreat, it is tradition that a Gift of Dana if given to the Guiding teacher of the center. Most people offer what they would usually pay for a workshop or other type of retreat. People should do what they feel they are able to do according to the teaching received. This is customarily done.

The only other cost involved is that the student is asked to send in a $25 deposit to hold their place upon registering to come to the center and $10 for their site membership fee for Emergency Air Vac membership which is done in case of any emergency where they must be transported out of the center. The location is an isolated forest site and this is the best protection. This membership covers the person through May of 2009 for all visits to the center.

So we ask people to send in $35 before arrival that is non-refundable. This can be done through Paypal or by sending a check to the center. The daily rate is paid upon arrival for the period the student is staying for retreat.
