One of our most beautiful moments in Missouri is Butterfly season! We ahve several too. This is a Springtime visiting Monarch Butterfly.

 


 

Staghorn mushrooms make a fine meal when freshly collected in the woods... 

 

Within three miles of the center is a lake and a great Eagle waits in a dead tree to spot a fish moving on the water.... 

Just down the road from the center a farm supports mares who are giving Birth. This little fella came out just as we were returning with supplies. First he had to stand up and then
